Dr. Suhail T A is a Senior Research Fellow at Indian Institute of Technology, Palakkad, Kerala, India working in a brain-machine interface research project. He also worked as a Software Specialist in another research project on information processing in the brain at Institute for Communicative and Cognitive Neurosciences, Shoranur (an autonomous institution under Government of Kerala) for two years. He pursued his Ph.D. at Government Engineering College, Thrissur which focused on detecting cognitive states using brain signals and analyzing changes in the cognitive performance under different behavioural conditions. He obtained his B.Tech from University of Calicut and M.E from Anna University, Chennai. He also worked as an Assistant Professor at Al-Ameen Engineering College, Kerala for six years. He has published several papers in reputed international journal and conferences. He also published engineering text books for various universities in India. His research interests include cognitive detection models, brain-machine interface systems, neurofeedback training, etc.
